“Iphigenia, your father has sent you a letter.” Your mother hands you the letter.
Your father! You open the letter and read his words in a rush. You are to be wed to the great warrior Achilles! For the wedding, you must travel to Aulis where you will see your father and meet the young warrior who is to be your husband for the first time.
You hug your mother and she smiles in excitement, although her eyes are sad.
